Up for bid is one (1) OEM chrome inner door handle for 1947 - 1966 Chevy and GMC vehicles (see PIC). This handle is in great overall physical and working condition with only light signs of use, age and wear (see PIC). The handle is stamped ‘3848873’ on the inside of the handle (see PIC). This style of handle was used on many 1947 – 1966 Chevy and GMC cars and trucks, but may also fit many other year/model GM vehicles. This handle was purchased at an estate sale in southern California and is being listed based on information I received from the previous owner and my Internet research. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more PICs as I must rely on your expertise and knowledge as to what this handle may or may not fit other then the vehicle described above. College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition 2006
Wed, 25 Oct 2006Senior transportation design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies presented their work to the public and industry representatives during the school's annual Student Exhibition earlier this year. The major project brief revolved around the notion of an 'Exquisite Chrysler.' Students had to identify six vehicles from the past that represented a combination of great beauty and good design, regardless of brand. In addition, six examples of great design outside of the automotive realm were to be chosen as possible influences.
