Check out my other items!   SET OF 2 MATCHING 14 INCH BY 6 WIDE CHROME RACING RIMS FOR GM, FORD AND CHRYSLER MODEL YEARS. THESE CAME ON A 1980 PONTIAC FORMULA 400 I BOUGHT FOR PARTS. I BELIEVE THEY WERE MADE BY C T & W ACCORDING TO THE ID STAMPED ON THE RIMS, BUT I AM NOT POSITIVE ON THAT. THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE STAMPED ON THE RIMS IS 9-10-2002. THE RIMS WERE MADE IN THE GOOD OLE USA. THAT IS STAMPED ON THE RIMS ALSO. THE RIMS SHOULD FIT CAMAROS, FIREBIRDS, NOVA, MUSTANG, CHARGER, CUDA, AND POSSIBLY OTHERS. THE BOLT MOUNTING PATTERNS ARE 4 AND 1/4 INCHES FROM CENTER TO CENTER OF MOUNTING STUDS GOING ACROSS THE RIM AND SKIPPING 1 HOLE. THE OTHER BOLT PATTERN IS 4 AND 1/2 INCHES USING THE SAME MEASURING TECHNIQUE. THE RIMS HAVE THE HEAVY REINFORCED CENTERS, SEE PICTURE # 9 , FOR RACE CARS AND WEIGH 23 LBS EACH. THEY ARE SOLID AND IN VERY NICE CONDITION. THEY DO HAVE SOME MINOR PITTING IN SOME AREAS AND DO SHOW LIGHT SCRATCHES, BUT WOULDN'T SHOW IN THE PICTURES, AND THEY LOOKED GREAT ON THE VEHICLE WHEN THEY WERE ON IT.THEY WERE ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND CLEARED ALL DISC BRAKE COMPONANTS. THE TIRES HAVE BEEN REMOVED, BUT DID HOLD AIR, SO I KNOW THEY SEAL OK. I DO NOT HAVE THE CENTERS OR THE LUGNUTS FOR THEM. THE LUGNUTS ON THE CAR THEY CAME ON WERE PUT BACK ON IT FOR ROLLING PURPOSES. I'M BY FAR NO EXPERT ON THESE WHEELS, SO IF YOU NEED MORE INFO, OR CAN HELP TO BETTER IDENTIFY THEM, PLEASE E MAIL ME. PLEASE CHECK YOUR APPLICATION TO BE SURE OF FIT AND CLEARANCE. PAYPAL AND CREDIT/ DEBIT CARDS ACCEPTED. THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK.   Be sure to add me to your favorites list

General Motors' Australian subsidiary, Holden, has revealed its new VF series Calais -- the rear-wheel-drive sedan that in top-of-the-line, V8-powered, left-hand-drive form -- will be exported to North America and sold as the Chevrolet SS. The new Calais sits at the top of what Holden describes as an “extensively upgraded Commodore” range, with right-hand-drive Australian sales set to get underway in June. The Holden Commodore and its more luxurious Calais derivative have underpinned General Motors' sales in Australia since its introduction in 1978.

Auto Show: Los Angeles Auto Show gives preview into design competition

Tue, 21 Dec 2004

Ask automobile designers to come up with their interpretation of the 'Ultimate LA Machine' and you'll get a broad array of creative ideas. That's precisely what the LA Auto Show asked Los Angeles area automobile design studios to do - and the results are fascinating, entertaining and thought provoking. The LA Auto Show has provided a sneak peek into the competition by releasing one of the 13 entries - the Hyundai NTT, 'Entity', submitted by the Hyundai Kia America Design Center.
