Citroën Prototypes make British debut at Classic Motor Show

For fans of Citroëns and ultra-rare classic cars, the 2009 Classic Motor Show will mark a British first thanks to a joint effort by the various Citroën car clubs attending, in conjunction with Citroën UK. The Citroën Car Club, the 2CVGB club and the Traction Owners Club will be showing four models - three of which have not been seen before on British soil - to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the French marque. These amazing vehicles are being brought to the UK from Citroën's Conservatoire in Paris especially for the show.

The all-new Chevrolet Sliverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups will be looking to steal sales from the dominant Ford F-Series in the US full-size truck market in the 2014 model year. The Silverado is the flagship of Chevrolet's three-truck portfolio, sitting above the Silverado 3500 and 2500 HD. The GMC Sierra features the same basic package as its bow-tied sibling but with unique features to offer a more premium proposition.

As Jaguar confirmed its new F-type sports car at the 2012 New York auto show, it issued some teaser video footage of the new £55,000 roadster landing in showrooms in spring 2013. Jag ambassador and former racer Martin Brundle hitches a lift with the company's chief dynamics engineer Mike Cross for a few hot laps in the F-type prototype around its handling circuit at Gaydon. We can safely ignore the hyperbole poring forth ('It's responsive, it's a great car to drive') but it's a good chance to see the all-aluminium F-type in action.
