Not only is there a choice of three-door and five-door 108s, there’s also a choice of two engines -a  68bhp 1.0-litre 3-cylinder and the new 1.2-litre PureTech VTi – and four trim levels - Access, Active, Allure and Feline  - although you’ll have to settle for Active or Allure if you want the Top! Cabrio.

Royal College of Art degree show 2009

Students at the Royal College of Art recently celebrated the culmination of two years of study by presenting their final projects at the college's annual MA degree show. With a wide range of projects investigating form language for existing brands, sustainability and some even bordering on fine art, the degree show featured the works of 15 students. You’ve got to feel for Scandinavian car makers Saab and Volvo. Both swallowed up by big US car makers, and both now being abandoned in a vulnerable position after years of integrating their once independent products in to their parents infrastructure, they must wake up every day wondering if this is the day it all goes bang. Ford is simply trying (increasingly desperately) to off-load Volvo, but GM, which is in a much more precarious position than Ford, has now abandoned its Swedish child in a desperate attempt to appease Congress and survive.
