This unit is from a 1972 Chrysler 35hp. Fluid came out clean with no metal or water. That despite the pressure test showed up a leaking shift shaft seal above 3psi. Price reflects this. Will need an impeller as the motor was sitting for several years. Turns freely and shift feels good both forward and reverse. Ratio is 1.75:1, 21 1/2" from housing to end of drive shaft(standard long shaft) with 14 splines. Prop shaft is 3 3/4" 14 spline. Shift shaft is 12 3/8 in forward and 12 3/4 in reverse with upper shift shaft screwed down on the lower shift shaft .Fits many models but do your own research. Comes with prop nut and mounting bolts. Unit is sold as is/as described with no warranty or return. Shipping is for lower 48 only. Thanks for looking, now go fishing!
