Race Engine- 500 cu. in. This is a brand new engine that has a rotating assembly purchased from Herb McCandless Performance Inc. and assembled using the Herb McCandless Performance Inc. specifications. This stroker motor has Indy 440-1 cylinder heads, Milodon dual-line pickup, Bill Miller aluminum rods, Venolia pistons, ATI Super Damper, Indy Head race roller cam (690 lift- 276 duration at .50), SFI certified flex plate,hard-blocked block, align bored. The engine has approximately one hour of run time. The engine was built to the specification of 700+ horsepower similar to the engine offered by Indy Cylinder Head -Bracket Master 500 cu.in (4.375 bore x 4.150 stroke). Dyno tested- 700 horsepower and 648 lbs. of torque through mufflers.

David Hilton has been appointed Head of Exterior Design for Bentley Motors, based in the UK. The super-luxury brand – owned by the Volkswagen Group – is headed by CEO Wolfgang Durheimer, who is also in charge of Bugatti design development. US-born Hilton replaces Raul Pires in Crewe, Cheshire, after he left Bentley at the end of 2011 to join VW-owned Italdesign.

Saab's new Dutch owner, Spyker Cars NV, intends to spin additional models off its new Phoenix platform after it yields a redesigned Saab 9-3. Saab dealers will receive the latest 9-3 in 2012, Spyker founder and Saab Automobile AB Chairman Victor Muller said Thursday at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, Mich. The dealers, who have been starved for product as former owner General Motors attempted to sell or liquidate the brand, also will obtain a Cadillac-based 9-4X crossover when it goes into production in April 2011 in Mexico.
