Plug-In 2013 conference plugs along

Every now and then, the electric car industry comes together in a sort of Woodstock-of-the-Watt-Hour to take stock of itself and to exchange ideas, sign contracts and maybe have a beer. The most recent parliament of the plug-in was last week in San Diego at an annual industry event known as Plug-In 2013, although obviously they change the year in the title as necessary. McLaren P1 (2013) official performance figures announced

McLaren has finally revealed the price and performance figures for its P1 supercar. The hybrid P1 will launch from 0-62mph in less than three seconds, hit 124mph in under seven seconds, and reach 186mph in around 17 seconds, according to McLaren's official figures. The P1's top speed is electronically limited to 217mph.

Alfa Romeo To Lead To Touring Car Pack

IF YOU want to get a good look at Alfa Romeo’s dramatic-looking new 4C sports car you’re going to have to start watching this season’s World Touring Car Championship. The Italian car maker isn't competing though, as the 4C was been made the official safety car for the 2014 season. The coupe will be finished in a special livery and will be on the grid for every race, beginning with the Circuit of Marrakech (Morocco) on 12 and 13 April.
