This listing is for a NEW OEM Mopar Automatic Dual Zone A/C Heater Control Head. The dual zone automatic temperature control (ATC) heating-A/C system allows completely independent side-to-side temperature control of the discharge air. The dual zone ATC system includes a dust and odor filter. The particulate air filter element is the same size as the A/C evaporator to ensure ample capacity. A door at the base of the HVAC housing below the glove box provides easy access to the particular air filter element. The Computer logic remembers the settings of the A/C-heater controls when the ignition is turned to Off and, retains those settings after a restart, etc. The computer logic also provides variable air recirculation under high temperature and humidity conditions. Recirculation mode is initially accompanied by outside air to help remove any humidity within the passenger compartment and will gradually approach full recirculation over a broad range of temperatures.

Weineck Cobra 780 at RM Auctions in Paris

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

The phrase “fastest Cobra ever made” has been thrown around too often for our taste over the last…50 or so years. But we're going to say it now, possibly for the last time: How does 1,100 hp sound? Weineck, a Germany-based tuning company, dropped a 12.9-liter -- 780-cubic-inch -- V8 in the famous body, for a run of 15 cars, all of which sold out.

Tesla ‘drops’ entry-level Model S. But was it ever going to be available?

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

The 40kWh version of the Tesla Model S is being dropped by Tesla in the US, but we do wonder if Tesla ever had any intention of delivering it in the first place. Tesla’s big claim ahead of the arrival of the, very impressive, Model S – and a seemingly vital part of the US taxpayer funding Tesla to develop the Model S – was that they would deliver a car that cost under $50k, something the car industry thought impossible. But when the Model S was launched, Tesla did indeed have an entry-level model available with a 4okWh battery that was listed at $58,750 (taking it almost down to the $50k mark after the US taxpayer chipped in the EV bribe) so Elon Musk could, quite reasonably, claim Tesla had delivered.
