For auction is a 1975 Chrysler "Sailor" long shaft 10 hp, electric start, outboard. The cowling is cosmetically rough with some Bondo reinforcing the plastic they used. The nine on the back or the the cowling is really an inverted six from a different cowl but it is an authentic 10 hp motor.
Brand:Chrysler Marine Stroke:2-Stroke Engine(HP):10 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

This motor has electric start and the starter motor works well as does the battery charger. It pumps plenty of water and shifts as it should.  It starts and runs but roughly until I put on a replacement fuel pump.  If I sell it before I get around to that chore, the buyer will get the fuel pump.  It is set up to run with tiller and twist grip throttle but has the fittings for remote shifting and throttle. Well, I put the new fuel pump on and it starts and runs like a champ. I think I'll put it on my 22' sailboat until it sells.
