New Citroen Grand C4 Picasso – launches January 2014

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

The New Citroen Grand C4 Picasso (pictured) launches in the UK January 2014 If a Citroen C4 Picasso just isn’t big enough to plant your brood in, Citroen has always had an answer in the shape of the 7-seat Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. And now there’s a new one. Citroen has revealed the new Grand C4 Picasso early, ahead of an on sale date of January 2014 in the UK, which is even more capacious than the old Grand C4 and gets some styling changes to mark it out from its 5-seat sibling.

McLaren P1 bare carbon fibre option

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

McLaren are considering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1 (pictured) With the McLaren P1 now getting close to hitting the road as a customer car (and arriving at Goodwood on the move in July), the lucky few with pockets deep enough to buy a car that will cost them pushing on £1 million are busy poring over the options for the P1. We spoke to one such customer over the weekend who was busy deciding which boxes to tick on the P1 spec sheet, and he was under the impression that McLaren were offering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1, and at no cost. Which didn’t sound right.

New car sales September 2014 best in ten years. But…

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

The Ford Fiesta was again the best-selling car – September 2014 We’ve got used to new car sales / registration reusing month after month, and September 2014 is no different. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is reporting new registration for the important plate change month of September at 425,681 units, the strongest September performance since 2004 and the 31st month in a row new car sales have increased. But the SMMT do say that although September’s figures show yet another increase, it only represents a rise of 5.6 per cent compared to the March plate change registrations rise of 18 per cent, an indication that the new car marekt is starting to level off after nearly three years of growth.
