Original, circa 1913 GMC Gasoline Trucks sales brochure/catalog. Specifications for the models: 1.25 ton VC, 2 ton SC, 3.5 & 5 ton H & K, 5 ton KD automatic dump, 3.5 & 5 ton HU & KU, as well as fob prices that are corrected in red ink (penned). Raised embossed front and back cover. There is a 1/2 inch tear on the bottom, center pages throughout, except for the front cover. Some paper damage on the front & back cover (see photo). Title page has some paper damage. Center folded page is loose from staples. Page twenty-five is torn (approx. 1 x 2 inches), but text is ok. Contains photos and illustrations. As the title suggests, this latest project from the creators of Masters of Modern Car Design charts the remarkably prolific career of Italian car designer Ercole Spada. From the legendary Zagato-era Aston Martin DB4 and Alfa Romeo TZ1 that established his trademark cropped tail, to the 2008 Codatronca supercar that bore his name, via the 1980s BMW 5 and 7 Series, this 304-page hardback covers them all in fine detail.

This time it’s the rebirth of MG, now in Chinese hands and back from a near-death experience since MG Rover collapsed in April 2005. Nanjing Automobile Corporation (NAC) is the oldest car maker in China and paid £50 million to snap up the MG brand and manufacturing rights, but can it really stand a chance with its new English project?  The Chinese manufacturer is reviving the MG brand and, in Europe, the first model on sale will be the revised TF roadster on sale around September 2007.
