Circuit Breaker Switch Airpax 3a 50vdc Delay B M39019/01-32 Nasa on 2040-parts.com
Oviedo, Florida, United States
My Cat "Killer" approves this item! This auction is for One AIRPAX AP1 series, Part number M39019/1-32 (020-211-0032) 3 AMP, 50VDC DELAY B, Magnetic Circuit Breaker-Switch.These are
hermetically sealed and have solder tabs. They were purchased for the NASA SPACEHAB project and never used.
The sale price is a fraction of new for these New-Old-Stock (NOS) parts. These are ideal
for a custom breaker panel for a home built project or for branch
protection of an ancillary device. These are Space Rated and were for the SpaceHab Program. This is good stuff! Each
switch is tested functionally with an Ohm Meter before shipping to
ensure that the switch continuity is correct. Returns will be accepted
within 14 days for defective items only. No return for damage due to
improper handling or installation. Return postage is responsibility of
buyer. These are DC circuit breakers, not for AC household current!
Please feel free ask me about your application before buying. Applications: These
might be good for current limiting 3000 mAH Lithium Ion Battery Packs
in various applications. Check your battery specs and load for
suitability. DELAY B according to specs will trip instantly at 4 times
rated current. So 12A short will trip these right away. A continuous
load of 135% (4.05A) will also trip the breaker. These are also good to
50VDC so you can have up to 150W protection. If you have several
parallel strings of 3000maH batteries, each string up to 50VDC can be
separately protected. If there is a load short, each string will open
its own circuit breaker. These are great for applications
where critical equipment requires a fuse, but in actual use a circuit
breaker can be a lifesaver as you while can repair a short with a bit of
tape if you don't have a replacement fuse your lights, radio, fuel pump
or ignition system will leave you stranded. A perfect application would
be an off road vehicle. These switches are hermetically sealed so dust
and water will not get in nor will they corrode. These use solder
terminals so the connection is free from corrosion as well. Since they
are hermetically sealed, they will not spark making them safer near
batteries and fuel. Also EMCOMM radio equipment can be
protected with these switches. Having a master switch/Circuit breaker
eliminates current drain on the battery power and provides protection
against wiring faults. Feline NOT included! Fiat 500C – the reveal happens
Mon, 16 Feb 2009As we told you on Saturday, Fiat intended unveiling the new convertible 500 - The Fiat 500C – today, and here we have the first official images of the car. As we expected, the 500C gets a full-length canvas roof, with the C pillars staying in place to keep the cost down and add strength. But it seems we were wrong on its action – it’s going to be electric.
Citroen Revolte surfaces
Thu, 10 Sep 2009The Citroen Revolte Concept - the new 2CV? It’s looking increasingly likely that this new Citroen will revive the 2CV moniker. But that referred to ‘Two Steam Horses’, so unless this is one very eco car powered by a rubber band and a clockwork mechanism I guess the name will be there for nostalgic reasons rather than denoting anything specific.
