Weber Carburetor, original; adjustment screws, accelerator plate and choke (butterfly) valve all move freely. This has been sitting, assume carburetor and hydraulic devices need rebuilding or overhaul.. Hydraulic idling device included, thread hookups for lines and bleed screw attachments look good. There is carbon buildup (some flakes) inside the intake manifold (see 7th photo), and also what looks like some superficial rust on underside coolant hose connections, see 9th photo. Sold as is.

Euro NCAP finds quadricycles had “severe safety problems”

Euro NCAP has branched out from cars and crash tested a small selection of “heavy quadricycles”  – small, four-wheeled vehicles that were originally developed from motorcycles that are sometimes also known as microcars, and don’t come under the usual car regulations. Although legal for use on the road, these machines do not need to achieve the same rigorous crash test safety standards as ordinary cars. But they are increasingly seen as a fuel-efficient urban transportation alternative, and some of them can be driven teenagers as young as 16.

Volvo Flywheel KERS Hybrid cuts fuel consumption by 25%

Two years ago we reported that Volvo were testing a clever hybrid Flywheel KERS system for road cars and hoped it would prove to be a good way to make road cars more economical. And it seems it does. The Hybrid Flywheel KERS system Volvo has developed weighs only 6kg, has a diameter of just 20cm, is made of carbon fibre, sits in a vacuum and is located on the back axle and works by recovering energy under braking which is then stored for use when the car moves off.
