:

Have these corners lights that were pulled off a 89 civic wagon in a local junkyard. No cracks or anything from what I can see. Also no tabs or anything broken from the looks of them as well. Seems good to go and great replacements for the ones you have that might be broke or cracked or missing tabs. THIS IS FOR 88 to 89 ONLY! Hence the two screw holes in the corner light so if you have one without screw holes this will NOT work.

FCA issues warning on logbook loans

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

VULNERABLE people who use their car as security to take out a loan are finding themselves squeezed even harder financially and even threatened, the City regulator has found. The Financial Conduct Authority warned it will put firms offering logbook loans out of action if they do not "dramatically" improve their standards, after finding evidence of poor behaviour including little or no affordability checks being carried out and some applicants being encouraged to manipulate details of their income. It said lenders are failing to properly spell out exactly how expensive such debts will be, with the true cost often masked by an emphasis on "low" weekly repayments and key terms and conditions buried in small print.

CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Mini Cooper S

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

By the CAR editorial team First Official Pictures 20 January 2014 14:00 The styling of the new Mini Cooper generated huge debate when we revealed the new hatch on CAR Online late last year. Some of you hated the bulbous, high-shouldered look, while others criticised the stylists for not moving the game on far enough next to rivals like the Citroen DS3 and Audi A1. The dust is still settling on that front, but there can be no argument over just how important the new Cooper is not just for Mini, but BMW’s future too.

2015 Land Rover Defender WON’T look like DC100 Concept

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – has said the 2015 Land Rover Defender won’t look like the DC100 Concept. Most of the feedback Land Rover got was pretty positive, although there were comments from traditional Defender owners that the DC100 looked like a toy Defender and not the rugged icon they wanted. But it looks like those traditional buyers of the Land Rover Defender can stop panicking that their wheels of choice will be turned in to a style statement instead of a workhorse after Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – told CarAdvice that the 2015 Defender won’t look like the DC100 after all.
