This is a new fuel pressure line fitting for the Wallbro style Saab fuel pumps found on the 1990 and newer Classic Saab 900 cars. This fitting will also work on the later style 9000 and 93 and 95 fuel pumps but you will have to push this into the plastic fuel line or splice with a good quality fuel hose. This is the white fuel pressure line fitting and fluid only flows away from the tank. The second picture is to show you what the fitting looks like when pushed into the plastic line.

The other fitting (usually black although the early ones were white) is the return line and fluid only flows into the tank. These fittings are usually easily broken and the return fitting can only be purchased with the entire line from the front of the vehicle.

Honda NSX: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

A new version of the Honda NSX Concept (Acura NSX) has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, this time with an interior. But last year, at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, Honda turned up with the first concept of the new NSX, complete with a confession that this NSX wasn’t a done deal for production, but a work in progress. That work in progress is now back at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and comes with a few tweaks to the styling but, more importantly, the first idea of how the interior will look when the new NSX does arrive in a couple of years (probably).

The guys from Waft see things differently. They first came to our attention with their book Belgian Car Designers, profiling the surprising number of their countrymen holding top design seats.

Top Gear Series 21 – the tease begins (video below) The new series of Top Gear – Series 21 – is due to start some time soon, although exactly when is still a little in doubt as the BBC are staying tight-lipped. That said, they have released the first – very short – tease video (below) for the new series with Jeremy Clarkson sitting in what looks like a VW up! moaning about the number of lorries he’s encountering.
