I have a slightly used Clay Smith hyd roller cam for a sbc I used it for 200 miles in my 397 sbc stroker it has AMAZING low and mid range and held strong to 6100 rpms where it made 562 chp and over 500 tq, but i wanted more top end so changed to a bigger custom cam by Mike Jones which spun too 7000. This would make a GREAT cam for any sbc stroker 383, 370, 397, or 408

SBC 377 to 390 CID AFR 190 to 210 Head Max Power 6200 rpm Peak torque 3600. This cam is designed for engines using 3.750” stroke with the AFR Heads and their high Intake the Exhaust flow ratio. This cam maximizes the power potential of these heads by taking advantage of the RAM Effect caused by piston velocity at low rpm. Increase header size of 1.750” is highly suggested to take full advantage of the power band of this camshaft. Adding 1.6 ratio to cam will increase rpm to 6400. We recommend a 3000 stall. We recommend a 850CFM carb and a minimum of 10 to 1.

Future products: Geely must retool Volvo plans

Wed, 01 Sep 2010

For example, all of Volvo's current range except the 9-year-old XC90 crossover makes use of Ford vehicles and components. The XC90 is based on Volvo's P2 platform and was developed before Ford ownership.

Future Fiat 500 and Fiat Panda imagined by design students

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Students at the Royal College of Art in London were challenged to redesign the Fiat 500 and the Fiat Panda for the year 2020. Part of Fiat's "Two of a Kind" design training experience stretching out over three months, the competition attracted more than 50 entries. The design challenge was more than a competition to design the most effective exterior, as students were divided into several interdisciplinary teams and tasked with developing new solutions for the interiors and exteriors of both cars, integrating such concepts as interactivity, sustainability and global appeal into their designs.
