Our Jeep heavy duty lower control arm brackets are 1/4" laser cut, and are designed as an OEM replacement part. Your stock Jeep Wrangler TJ, LJ, Cherokee XJ, or Grand Cherokee ZJ, lower control arms need to be cut off, and the axle tube cleaned and ready for welding. Properly position your new heavy duty mounts using our helpful laser cut markings and weld them on. The flat bracket is intended to be welded to the front as a skid plate and brace to help strength the bracket, and protect your control arms from any new damage.

The Subaru Stella Plug-in EV goes on sale in Japan today Not designed to be anything other than a city car, the Subaru Stella has a range of around 55 miles on a full charge of its Li-ion batteries, which can be charged in about five hours from a standard socket (or in 15 minutes from a quick-charge outlet), and a has top speed of 62mph – so it really is a city-only car. Based on Subaru’s existing Stella mini-car the Stella EV is powered by a 60bhp (47kw) electric motor that delivers 125lb/ft of torque from the off. It also incorporates a regeneration system that tops up the batteries during deceleration to help the range.

Has the McLaren P1 lapped the Nurburgring in a record 6 minutes 47 seconds? We knew McLaren were back at the Nurburgring with the P1 in an attempt to make good on Ron Dennis’s promise that the P1 would lap the ‘Ring in under 7 minutes. It appears McLaren has already tried to set a sub-7 minute time with the P1 but could only manage 7:04s so, with the firts P1s now in customer hands – and full performance specs revealed – the final piece of the jigsaw (apart form a Top Gear lap record) is to set a great time at the Nurburgring.
