Audi nanuk off-road supercar concept for Frankfurt Motor Show 2013

Audi has revealed a surprise new concept on the eve of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – the Audi nanuk quattro concept, a 544hp V10 TDI-engined crossover supercar. The Audi nanuk quattro concept SUV supercar is a design collaboration with famous Italian styling house Giugiaro and, says Audi, has been created to combine ‘the dynamics of a high-performance sports car with Audi’s quattro expertise on the road, on the race track and also off-road’. Ferrari F1 drops ‘Marlboro’ graphics for Barcelona

Ferrari have dropped the ‘Pack of Marlboros’ graphic for the Barcelona GP A couple of weeks ago we reported that Ferrari have been accused of running subliminal tobacco advertising on their F1 cars, an allegation Ferrari strenuously denied. To be honest we can’t know for sure whether there was an intent to subliminally suggest a pack of Marlboros with the barcode graphics on the current Ferrari F1 livery or not. What we can be sure of is that now a jobsworth has made the allegation we all think of a pack of Marlboros every time we see the Ferrari livery.

Partnership Premium 2030 - Part 2

Strate College has released the second episode in its five-part mini-series documenting a project students have undertaken in partnership with French automaker Peugeot: creating a premium vehicle for the year 2030. This second video delves into the 2D sketching phase of the project as 30 students – divided into 10 groups – devise their exterior and interior designs as well as the associated products and color and trim details for a future Peugeot. The video outlines the stage as students develop the overall proportions of the exterior and interior designs, and follows the teams as they choose the textures for materials that will feature in the interior.
