Geneva Motor Show 2012 With the 2012 Geneva Motor Show now upon us, we take a look at what you can expect to find at the biggest Motor Show – in the world. The Geneva Motor Show is the closest thing most European car makers get to a proper home show these days, so it’s always going to be a show full of big name reveals, lots of new cars and more than a handful of barking mad concepts. The Ford Mondeo Vignale (pictured). Ford’s first Vignale-badged car Earlier this month, as the Frankfurt Motor Show approached, Ford revealed that it’s going back to a sales tactic they created in the 1970s – badge-engineering their cars with a coachbuilders name to create an upmarket sub-brand. Last time Ford played this game we had almost 30 years for the Ford Ghia, a range of Ford’s mainstream models that had all the toys as standard to try and create an appealing high-end option for buyers.

The 2011 Ford Focus Estate gets revealed this week at Geneva Ford are busy delivering cars based on their new C–Segment platform to the market. We saw the 2011 Ford Focus arrive at the Detroit Motor Show at the start of the year. Prior to that we saw the C-Max and Grand C-Max at Frankfurt in September.
