Sat, 08 May 2010The Skoda Fabia & Roomster GreenLine II Skoda trollied out refreshed versions of the Skoda Fabia And Skoda Roomster at the Geneva Motor Show a few months back. Nothing to get hugely excited about, although in addition to the new nose there were also a new set of engines. Having got the meat out of the way Skoda are now turning to the veg, with the announcement of the Skoda Rooomster GreenLine II and the Skoda Fabia Combi GreenLine II (snappy little names)to carry Skoda’s green credentials for the range.
Volvo to trial self-driving cars on public roads
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Volvo Volvo has announced that it will soon begin a trial of 100 self-driving cars on the public roads around the Swedish city of Gothenburg. While many other carmakers – and Google – have been experimenting with this kind of autonomous driving technology, the ‘Drive Me – Self-driving cars for sustainable mobility’ project is set to see driverless cars mix with real traffic on real roads. Product placement is a great way for brands to raise their profile by association with a successful film, TV show or celeb. And much of what now gets placed on screen to push our buttons can probably be blamed on the James Bond franchise.
