Deeply discharged batteries, sometimes can be revived with this charger, but you will have to charge them individually, or in sets of 2 until they have some charge, and then charge the set together. This is a great, and very versatile charger but, THIS WILL NOT REVIVE COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERIES that are at the end of their life or have been deeply discharged beyond their capability. So if you need new batteries, change them, and this charger will charge them accordingly.

Regarding "OBC"s (on board charge controllers). If your cart has an on board charge controller you may have to modify some wiring in order to use this charger as the original chargers work in combination with the OBC (they disconnect the charger from the batteries) We have had a couple of returns over the years that claimed our charger was bad, but when tested, the charger was good so the problem must be in the cart itself. You can also connect the supplied ring terminals directly to the batteries with this charger (going directly to the batteries) and it should work. There are many blogs on this issue. Please do your research.

Mercedes B-Class gets a facelift for 2015 – debuts at Paris Motor Show

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

The Mercedes B-Class facelift goes on sale today (12 Sep 2014) from £22,575 It seems only five minutes since the second generation Mercedes B-Class arrived, but it’s getting a bit of a facelift – with the emphasis on the ‘bit’ – for 2015, with the main focus being the arrival for the UK of the B-Class Electric Drive which, for many considering an EV from a premium maker, is perhaps a better option than the ‘statement’ BMW i3. Tesla had a big input on the B-Class ED’s electric gubbins, and the result is an electric B-Class that develops 177bhp (and 251lb/ft of torque), enough for a scoot to 62mph in 7.9 seconds (top speed is limited to 100mph). Range, in an ideal world, is 124 miles from the 16.6kWh lithium ion batteries – enough for most commutes.

Mark Vaughn: We’ll always have Vegas

There were a few bare spots on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show this year, spots that in previous years had been jammed sardine-like with myriad Taiwanese makers of Hello Kitty knockoff cell phone cozies and electronic barking dogs, but the show this year was nonetheless pretty well attended. Besides, for those working their way upstream through the aisles like so many digitally trained trout, the empty spots left by exhibitors that pulled out were like refreshing mountain meadows or little piazzas in crowded Italian cities. Show management stocked the open spots with cushy couches, too, on which many a jet-lagged showgoer snoozed.

The Nissan Leaf revealed at Tokyo Not surprisingly, Carlos Ghosn – Nissan’s boss – has revealed that Nissan are working on a range of electric cars to be released in the next few years. Considering Nissan partners with Renault, and Renault announced something similar at Frankfurt, it’s not a huge shock toi the system that yet another car maker is going to churn out a range of EVs. First up is the Leaf, with Nissan aiming to launch an electric version of their NV200 van later in 2010.
