A quiet show for Citroen, to be honest... What’s new on Citroen’s London motor show stand?Not a great deal at all, sadly. There’s the UK debut of the C-Cactus concept car – which we originally saw at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show.

You never really know until it’s officially announced, but we did expect the 2012 Mercedes SLK55 to get the new 5.5 litre V8. When Mercedes revealed the new SLK back in January, we knew there were still two more versions to come for 2012 – the SLK55 and the Diesel SLK – and that we’d get the official details later. Well, now it’s later – at least for the SLK55.

We’ve had endless speculation that BMW are to produce an ‘M’ car for their baby 1-Series range. An argument for which is very strong. After all, if you can attach the ‘M’ moniker to a pair of fat SUVs – the X5M and X6M – attaching the ‘M’ badge to the 1-Series seems a no-brainer.
