First ever LA Car Design Night – registration now open

For those who have attended one of our Car Design Nights at various auto shows around the world, you'll know they're a great place to catch up with fellow designers, make new contacts and unwind with an informal drink away from the show floor. This year we're excited to announce the launch of our first event in the US, to coincide with the Los Angeles Auto Show on the evening of 20 November at Elevate Lounge on Wilshire Blvd from 7PM. Honda introduces dual-clutch hybrid transmissions

Honda explained its three new hybrid transmission options on Monday. There's one for small cars, one for plug-ins and one high-performance unit, which we assume will be in the next Acura NSX. Amazingly, none are continuously variable.

Ralph Lauren's car collection does Paris

Spring has sprung across much of the country, meaning heavy flannels now give way to white polo shirts--many of which will be crested with the familiar emblem of Ralph Lauren on the front. While we at One AutoWeek Tower prefer greasy T-shirts and ripped jeans, collared apparel does have its place. In that vein, Lauren's fabled car collection is taking center stage at a Paris art museum, and the exhibit will run through Aug.
