  Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old replacement stock clutch throw out bearing assembly, Nice part number N-1145.  This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part.  According to my Nice Manual, this is used on the following models and years:

 

Buick...60 Century, 70 Roadmaster, 80 Limited, 90 Limited....1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954

Buick....50 Super, 60 Century....1955

Buick....40 Special...1956, 1957

 

  The assembly is in brand new, never used condition and is free of any rust, dents or damage.  It is still heavily greased from the manufacturer.  The bearing is free, spins and functions properly.  The original box is in poor to fair condition.

Flexifuel allows a vehicle to run on either regular petrol or E85 – an 85/15 percent bio-ethanol/petrol blend – and automatically offsets any carbon emissions produced because more crops are always produced to meet the demand for fuel. Ford president and CEO John Fleming confirmed that the existing Focus and C-Max flexifuel cars would be joined by Mondeo, Galaxy and S-Max derivatives, which will all come on stream from early 2008.

But they’ve rather gone out of fashion. Which isn’t terribly surprising.

Commute times increasing

COMMUTING times are starting to creep up after falling back during the recession, a new study has shown. Research by the TUC union revealed that men in their early 40s spend longest getting to and from work, at an average of more than 67 minutes a day. Commute times for women peak in their late 20s at 54 minutes and then start to fall as they get older, said the report.
