Up for bid is a used Clymer Shop Manual for 1972 to 1982 Ford Courier – all models. The manual has 300+ pages that cover troubleshooting, lubrication, maintenance and tune up, engine, cooling, heating and exhaust, fuel system, emission control system, electrical system, clutch, manual and automatic transmission, rear axle and suspension, front suspension and steering, brakes and supplemental service information. This manual is in good useable condition, but the cover is very worn looking and stained (see PIC), but the inside is in much better condition. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at 9.0 for its ‘overall’ condition. Buyer will pay a fixed $3.50 shipping fee for USPS Media mail with Delivery Conformation. Canada residents shipping will be based on International First Class mail as media service is not available. Payments by personal check will ship 5 business days after payment received. Michelin Challenge Design 2007: The not so ugly truth about rising vehicle safety standards

Tue, 14 Nov 2006

Can cars be safe and beautiful at the same time? That may not have been the case a few decades ago when automakers were forced to hang those big, ugly so-called federal bumpers off the ends of their vehicles.  With vehicle safety standards on the rise around the globe are designers today feeling a little '70s deja vu when it comes to meeting the challenges of making cars safe as well as more fuel efficient? Video: The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept build process

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

Porsche has released a video featuring Style Director Michael Mauer charting the design process of the Panamera Sport Turismo concept. The 10-minute YouTube video, which also features General Manager Advanced Design Style Mitja Rorkert, follows the build process through each modeling phase right up until the presentation of the show car at this year's Paris motor show. "It always presents a special challenge when we develop a new kind of car for the Porsche brand," says Mauer, "precisely because we haven't been in the segment before, and the question of whether it matches the Porsche brand always looms in the background." We were impressed at the Panamera Sport Turismo concept's unveiling, particularly with its stance and detail execution, so the video is a chance to see just how this concept came into being.
