This telescopic antenna is coated with a hard rubber compound for protection. It has a flexible base and will extend when more range is needed. It should add at least 20-25% and in many cases much more. Some people have said it doubles their range, but all systems are different and the position of the satelites as well as the weather will have a bearing on your results.

This antenna is easy to install.

You simply unscrew the rubber factory antenna and screw this antenna in firmly. *DO NOT USE A WRENCH TO TIGHTEN IT*.

You could cause damage to your handheld unit if you do.

General Motors says Magna's Opel bid has obstacles, RHJ's is easier to accept

General Motors Co. says a bid for Opel from Magna International faces hurdles while a rival offer from Belgian investor RHJ International would be easier to accept. Writing on GM Europe's Web site, John Smith, GM's chief negotiator for the Opel sale, says Magna's bid "contained elements around intellectual property and our Russian operations that simply could not be implemented."
