JLT Plastic CAI (2011-14 Mustang GT) *Tuning Required

MOST SCT X4 TUNERS COME WITH A TUNE FREE FOR JLT INTAKES. WE HAVE TUNERS PRELOADED WITH JLT INTAKE TUNES $399.99 shipped if interested please message us.

Our first intake kit with the MAF housing incorporated into the tube. This makes for a smooth interior and a smooth look to the tube itself. We even took the interior sound tube into consideration. Some want it and some don’t, so we moved it to the inside and center of the tube. A Cap is included so you can remove the tube and cap the fitting in the JLT tube. Because we lowered the fitting, when it’s capped it’s less noticeable at most angles looking into the engine compartment.

With a huge 4.5” opening on the tube we needed a huge filter. So we got with S&B and gave them some measurements. We love the tapered flange design and Powerstack filtered ends of their filters and ended up with a monster 4.5x9” filter. Finish it off with a silicone coupler and stainless clamps and you got the BEST Intake on the market!!! NO METAL TUBING HERE!!

MOLDED IN MAF
It’s a full 107mm ID at the MAF area

HEAT SHIELD
The heat shield ABS plastic to block engine heat at idle and low speed.
It incorporates the fresh air inlet from the grill.
It uses a large area to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.

GAINS AND TESTING
Up to 30+ RWHP has been seen when used with our custom tune!
Our testing as well as many others have showed gains of 24-30 RWHP with our CAI and custom tune. If you see more “claimed” by others, ask them how. Also look over the dyno sheets real good for low number baseline runs or no dyno sheets at all. Many will base line the car with 87 fuel, then add 93 fuel, the CAI and tune and show more power. We don't do that! We test a car with 93 fuel from the start.

TUNING
A JLT specific tune is required with this kit.

FINISH OPTIONS
Standard finish is an OEM looking black textured plastic.

EASY INSTALL
The new design, detailed instructions and online video instructions helps make this an easy install.

•JLT Textured Plastic or painted intake tube
•Silicone Coupler
•4.5x9 S&B powerstack air filter
•ABS Heat Shield

First Sight: Smart Fortwo and Forfour

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

"Dress-down Wednesday," remarked a colleague as Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche walked on stage wearing jeans and no tie. While it was a hot day in Berlin, Zetsche's excuse for his informal attire was the occasion – the new Smart is here. Its prospective owners, he explained – young, urban consumers with an active lifestyle, not the typical members of corporate Germany – adhere to a different, if similarly rigid etiquette.

Panoz confirms new Abruzzi road car

Mon, 03 May 2010

The recurring rumor is now put to rest. Don Panoz, founder of Panoz Auto Development and the American Le Mans Series, said on Monday that the latest Panoz sports car--the Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans”--will be formally unveiled in June in France, in the lead-up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. “We wanted to wait until Le Mans to release official photos of the car, but today we are providing a ‘teaser’ image of the Abruzzi ‘Spirit of Le Mans’ that hints at what the final car will be like,” Panoz said.

11 excuses cops have already heard

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

"Everyone else was doing it," and "I had to go to the bathroom" extend beyond excuses used in a kindergarten classroom -- they actually top the most common excuses drivers use to get out of a ticket. Insurance.com surveyed 500 licensed drivers age 18 and over in February 2013 to find this list of top excuses we use when getting pulled over. 20.4 percent of drivers have tried: I couldn't see the sign telling me not to do it.
