The PLATINUM two-layer garment has been specifically engineered with our COLDPRUF® TECHNOLOGY to trap air between the layers of fabric to provide a natural warmth shield. The PLATINUM offers the desired level of WARMTH and COMFORT in very cold to extremely cold weather during mid to high activity.
Nature's natural warmth fiber, MERINO WOOL, blended with polyester on the outside and combined with CPT Performance Polyester on the inside, provides MAXIMUM WARMTH, DRYNESS and COMFORT at the same time providing ODOR CONTROL.

But it shows no sign of fading completely, as we see in the first official photographs of the new sixth-generation 5-series, which goes on sale in North America by mid-2010. Codenamed F10, BMW's midsize sedan is restyled and reengineered in a bid to keep it ahead of key rivals such as the recently renewed Mercedes-Benz E-class and the Audi A6.

Launched in 2002, the XC90 has soldiered on essentially unchanged (bar some tweaks and the R-Design options), yet despite that it’s still a credible option with some very appealing traits. In DaimlerChrysler's words: "Despite its boxy, cube-shaped body, this tropical fish is in fact outstandingly streamlined and therefore represents an aerodynamic ideal". This 4240mm long car that seats four has a Cd value of just 0.19 which, in combination with light-weight construction and an advanced diesel powertrain, gives 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 80% lower nitrogen oxide emissions. This reduction in NO2 is achieved by spraying 'AdBlue', an aqueous urea solution, into the exhaust system in precisely metered quantities to convert the nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water, so even if it looks like it should, it shouldn't smell fishy...
