Installation
Notes:
-
If the
heat pump is equipped with an optional evaporator condensate pump, a 1/2” I.D.
hose must be provided that runs from the 14” square opening, through the vehicle
ceiling and down the side wall to allow water to drain under the vehicle. The
hose must not be allowed to kink shut while making a bend. Connect the top end
of the drain hose to the barbed fitting shown in Figure 4 in the installation instructions.
-
Insure
that a condensate hose is installed if the optional condensate pump is provided.
The attachment point is in the return air, shown in Figure 9 in the installation instructions. A 1/2” barbed
fitting is provided, however, removal of the hose “pigtail” will allow use of a
1/4” I.D. hose.
NOTE: You MUST purchase both an Upper Unit and a Ceiling Assembly for a complete system! These are sold as separate part numbers.

If you've ever been to Bonneville during Speed Week, you know what a thrilling corner of the motorsports world the place occupies: standing out on the endless, blazing-white expanse of salt, hearing the cars before you see them, seeing first the roostertail of salt rocketed into the air, then the tallest part of the rear fin, then the car itself, blasting over the curvature of the Earth, followed by engine cutoff, popping chutes, deceleration and the giddy celebration of driver and crew as yet another record falls. But most people -- those with jobs, kids, responsibilities (where are your priorities, people???) -- will never get a chance to go. So this year, the Southern California Timing Association has made a deal to broadcast audio of the entire Speed Week live, as it happens, direct from the salt, on the fabulous internet.
