This Auction is for a brand new old stock Colgan custom car bra. Colgan created the first car bra in 1961 for German engineers interested in providing a protective cover while road testing cars. Particularly new Porsches. Colgan uses specially formulated vinyl that is tested to withstand extreme temperature changes and its resistance to stones and debris. The vinyl also receives a top coating that shields the vinyl from weathering. The backing is a substrate of super soft porous polyester to keep the paint scratch free. This substrate is not laminated but actually integrated by special process into the vinyl to eliminate any possibility of separation. The fender pad is double padding to assuring a good fit and protection against wear-through. The binding is a soft polyester binds all edges to assure protection against abrasion and gives a quality, finished appearance. Top stitched seams enhance strength and provide a neater appearance. The hooks are designed to assure protection against abrasion. The air deflectors are used to stabilize the cover at high speeds and deflect debris and insects from the cars windshield. The Colgan custom car bra comes in the original box and sealed instructions for installation. The original list price of these car bras are $79.99 to $99.99. Please ask any questions before bidding and end of auction. |

Peugeot keep interest in the 208 GTi with a promo video
With the Peugeot 208 GTi due to debut at Geneva next week as a concept, Peugeot release theĀ firstĀ promo video. There are high hopes for the new Peugeot 208 GTi, with Peugeot desperately hoping a performance halo for the 208 range will evoke memories of the terrific 205 GTi and filter down in to much bigger sales for more prosaic 208s. So to keep interest in the public debut of the 208 GTi next week, Peugeot has been busy cobbling together a promo video to show the new GTi blatting around – in and out of focus – so we don’t have chance to forget the 208 GTI is on its way.

It's been a year since Jann Mardenborough entered the PlayStation GT Academy. On Saturday, he'll be on the track at Monza, going wheel to wheel with Valentino Rossi in the opening round of the Blancpain Endurance Series. Mardenborough won the GT Academy and drove in the 24 Hours of Dubai with fellow Academy winner Bryan Heitkotter in a race-prepped Nissan GT-R.

Motor Shows
24 January 2008 23:29
Running from January 17th-27th, the Brussels Motorshow is probably the first European motorshow of the year. Comparisons with Detroit are perhaps unfair but almost inevitable. There was certainly plenty of glamour with Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Lamborghini amongst the exotic participants.
