Returns

All non-special order parts may be returned within 60 days of invoice, if in new unused condition, in the original packaging and with proof of purchase. All video tapes, software, books and electrical items may not be returned! Please use the eBay RGA# for expedited refunds. Shipments must be PREPAID using UPS, US Mail, or FedEx Ground. Please include a list of the parts you are returning so we can notify you if something is lost in shipment. For your protection it is a good idea to insure the package for the full value. All orders are subjected to a triple-point quality control. Every part is scanned from the shelf to the parts puller's cart. Then it's scanned from the cart to the shipping conveyor. However, Spyker has been beset by problems – mainly financial – for years, which has limited both their production and development capabilities, but recent investment from Russia has finally solved those problems, and Spyker is again starting to move forward. Cars UK has learnt that the clincher for the Russian investment was the investor’s love of the Peking-Paris, so with money in the kitty Spyker are pushing ahead with the car at speed.

Aston Martin & Mercedes join forces

Aston Martin Production will soon see an injection of Mercedes DNA This isn’t the first time we’ve talked about a partnership between Aston Martin and Mercedes, but according to Car & Driver it’s now just about a done deal. As long ago as March 2009 we reported that Mercedes supplied the basis for the Lagonda SUV Concept (a Mercedes GL), and six months later we reported that Aston Martin were working on a Mercedes S-Class based Lagonda saloon. More recently we reported that the GL-based Lagonda SUV was back on and that Mercedes wanted Aston Martin to put together the next generation of Maybach.

New Peugeot 308 production increased to meet demand

Peugeot are increasing production of the new 308 to meet demand The new Peugeot 308 arrived in the UK in January – although it’s been on sale in Europe since last year – and it’s a decent effort from Peugeot. In fact, even though we didn’t think it was the best choice, the new 308 took the European Car of the Year Award at the Geneva Motor Show last week, a decision that’s probably been credibility by the apparent popularity of the new 308. Since the 308 went on sale late last year, Peugeot has managed to shift more than 60,000, so with the new 308 SW (Estate) about to go on sale Peugeot is ramping up production to meet current and expected demand by adding a third shift at its Sochaux Plant, creating 600 new jobs in the process.
