Application: B20 Block w/ B16A, B18C1, or B18C5 VTEC Cylinder Head. (This gasket only works for B20/VTEC conversion. Will not work on straight VTEC engines.)

Description: Cometic Head Gasket is comprised of multi-layers of stainless steel and can be used for naturally aspirated as well as forced induction or nitrous. Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes.

Volvo has developed a new way of ‘storing’ energy for its future electric vehicles. The Swedish firm is exploring the concept of lightweight structural energy storage components made from carbonfibre, containing “nano structured batteries and super capacitors.” This technology is said to offer a lighter, more compact solution to the problem of energy storage, potentially removing the need for the heavy, bulky batteries used in current electric vehicles.
