COMP CAMS PART NUMBER #20-604-9

BRAND NEW IN THE BOX COMP CAMS 264 COMPUTER CONTROLLED HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAMSHAFT FOR 318-360 SMALL BLOCK CHRYSLER ENGINES 1992-2002.

COMP Cams® Computer Controlled Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

COMP Cams® Performance Camshafts
Camshafts are what COMP Cams® is all about.
The cam has long been revered as the "brain" of the engine, opening and closing the valves at the exact precise instant, coordinating the timing of each event to the exact location of the crankshaft and piston. The cam also has the remarkable ability of repeating this process over and over, as many times as necessary, in order to keep the engine running at the peak of its capability. Precise overlap events properly introduce raw fuel and expend exhaust. This provides a highly efficient scavenging process, then repeats the entire process all over again on the next stroke. Even more remarkable, the product we produce at COMP Cams® is a highly modified version of the stock, mass produced camshaft, designed to extract the most performance possible from a given application.
Highly trained engineers, and experienced lobe designers work hand in hand producing better, more refined products on a daily basis. Last years product is no longer the standard by which all others are judged. New and better products must be produced to stay ahead of the maximum performance game. In an industry where 2nd place means 1st loser, there is no margin for error. There is no room for 2nd best. This is where COMP Cams® excels, we design and manufacture the winner’s camshafts.

COMP Cams® Computer-controlled Camshafts
COMP Cams computer-controlled camshafts are specifically designed for the serious street performance enthusiast. Whether it's for a street rod or a show car with power accessories, one of these cams will fit your engine's needs.

Beijing Auto Show 2014 – the 15 cars that really matter

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

With somewhere around 90 world debuts, the Beijing motor show certainly had the numbers – if not the organization – to live up to its billing as one of the world's most important auto shows. The back-story to these figures however is that the majority of these unveils were of lightly-revised versions of existing models – from facelifts to localized versions of cars already on sale in other markets. That's not to say there was nothing of interest to see inside the maze of halls at the China Exhibition Center.

AMG recounts its history in new video

Thu, 05 May 2011

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG roadster is just the latest in a long line of pumped-up rides from AMG. The company has been putting wrenches to Mercedes-Benz engines since 1967, when Hans-Werner Aufrecht ("A") went into business with Erhard Melcher ("M") and founded AMG. The "G" is for Grossapach, Germany, the birthplace of Aufrecht.

80 mph speed limit: Idaho and Wyoming poised to be next

Thu, 27 Mar 2014

Idaho and Wyoming could soon see 80 mph speed limits introduced to a number of highways, joining Texas and Utah as the states with some of the fastest permitted passenger car-driving speeds, KMVT-TV in Idaho is reporting. A bill in Idaho would see some sections of interstates go from 75 mph to 80 mph, and other selected highways go from 65 mph to 70 mph, which are probably speeds that drivers are doing anyway in remote and not-so-remote parts of both states. But the Idaho Transportation Department did not lend its support to the bill even though it is given the authority to implement it.
