COMP CAMS 26915CS-KIT VALVE SPRING KIT - GM LS BEEHIVE LS Engine Beehive Valve Spring Kit: Steel Retainers This Beehive Valve Spring Kit for LS engines is designed for hydraulic roller cams and includes carefully matched Beehive Springs, steel retainers, locks, seals and spring seats. With a .600" maximum lift, these Beehive Valve Springs deliver increased valve train stability and a much lighter valve train. This is achieved with less spring pressure for better valve control and reduced weight of both the spring and retainer. The unique Beehive shape handles valve train stress more efficiently to eliminate damaging harmonics and increases high RPM horsepower and durability. The oval/multi-arc wire shape places the maximum area of the wire at the point of highest stress to handle valve train stress more efficiently and allow better heat dissipation for longer life. 2013 Audi S3 – Paris debut
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Audi has revealed the new S3 with a 296bhp 2.0 litre direct injection engine which will debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new Audi S3 – which will bow in at next week’s 2012 Paris Motor Sow – will join the new 5-door A3 Sportback on Audi’s stand at Paris and lay down a firm marker for Audi’s share of the market. The new S3 gets a new 2.0 litre direct injection engine - part of Audi’s EA888 engine range – to go with its new underpinning using the same MQB platform as the latest A3 range, making the new S3 both lighter and more powerful.

Mon, 18 Nov 20132014 MINI leaks ahead of reveal MINI has been busy teasing the new MINI for a while, with an official reveal planned for later today to coincide with the 107th birthday of the Mini’s creator – Sir Alec Issigonis. But the best laid plans of MINI have garnered a bit of a wrinkle with the first official photos (above) of the new MINI leaking out online ahead of the official reveal. They don’t really tell us much we don’t already know – especially with the MINI Vision Concept previewing the new MINI – but do confirm the new MINI still looks as we would expect, just bigger and better equipped and based on a new BMW platform.
BMW 5-series GT gets a new six-cylinder mix
Mon, 24 May 2010After a sluggish first few months for the 5-series GT crossover, BMW executives admit they may have missed the model mix. At launch, the 550 GT was available only with rear-wheel drive and a V-8 engine. That will change with the introduction of an all-wheel-drive model in June and a six-cylinder engine in the fall.
