Comp Cams 8100 Ultimate Adjustable Double Roller Billet Timing Set SBC.
This is a brand-new Comp Cams 8100 timing set for 1955 - 1999 262ci - 400ci Small Block Chevrolet engines equipped with flat tappet camshafts.
The packaging has been opened only to inspect, and verify the contents.
The timing set has never been installed, or mocked-up, and has not been out of it's packaging for anything other than pictures.
Installation instructions, adjustment key, and decals are all unused, and included with the timing set.
This timing set was mistakenly ordered for a factory roller block and the error was found much to late to return it for full credit.
See pictures for more details.

"If being able to adjust your cam timing quickly and easily is a top priority, then COMP Cams Ultimate Adjustable billet timing sets could be the answer. They have 2-piece billet steel cam sprockets, which let you change cam timing without removing the degree wheel or releasing the valvetrain load, and there's no cam bushing to break. Timing can be varied from 6 degrees retarded to 6 degrees advanced. Chains are heavy-duty, double-row types with hefty 0.250 in. rollers. A one-piece roller thrust bearing handles unwanted end loads."

Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying: Hamilton grabs pole for Mercedes

Sat, 29 Mar 2014

Lewis Hamilton takes pole in Malaysia in heavy rain Lewis Hamilton has secured his second pole position in two outings for Mercedes at the Malaysian Grand Prix – equaling Jim Clark’s record of 33 poles – as rain turned the Sepang track in to a lake. And with drivers quickly going on to full wets – and cars flying off the track as the rain took control of the qualifying sessions – the playing field was levelled, allowing Red Bull’s reigning World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, to almost pip Hamilton to pole, taking second place just 0.055s behind the Brit. Behind Vettel is the winner of the opening Australian Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg, in the second Mercedes, followed by the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso and the Red Bull of new boy Daniel Ricciardo – who was so impressive in Asutrali two weeks ago – taking fifth spot.

It's (almost) alive: General Motors and NASA develop a humanlike robot for the International Space Station

Wed, 14 Apr 2010

General Motors and NASA have teamed up to develop Robonaut 2, which will be the first humanlike robot to take up permanent residence on the International Space Station. Known as R2, the 300-pound robot will use its “hands” and “arms” to utilize the tools of the station. It will assist astronauts, which GM says has parallels with helping its workers in factories.
