Product Description The Brakeman Timed Compact Brake Control is designed for single and tandem axle trailers. Made of 100% solid state construction, this item has no moving parts or pendulums, no hydraulic connections and no leveling is required. The compact size allows to mount anywhere inside the passenger compartment. This brake control features a unique “sync” adjustment for towing different trailers, fingertip output controls and a soft touch variable manual control. Mounting bracket, hardware and instructions are included for easy installation. For use on 12 volt negative ground systems only. Reese Towpower brake controls are 100% "solid-state electronic." Models are designed for use with one to four axle systems. These units meet all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA/DOT) regulations regarding tow vehicle/trailer stoplight activation. Their ease of operation and innovative design features make them perfect choices for today's towing vehicles. Time-Based Brake Controls generate an output signal that increases over a period of time (Ramp Cycle). Brighton Speed Trials under threat
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Nearly 8,000 people have signed a petition to see the Brighton Speed Trials return in 2014. The event, which dates back to 1905, was cancelled last year while an inquest determined the cause of a fatal motorbike crash that occurred in 2012. Now organisers are urging the local council to give them permission to return to the Speed Trials to Brighton’s Madeira Drive this summer.
Spyker hopes for a Saab purchase accord in 'days, not weeks'

Buried amongst the press material for Ingolstadt’s 100th anniversary were the two teaser images: the sketch reveals the headlight and grille design; the picture shows the A8 hidden beneath a black Audi-branded dustsheet.The A8 is currently in the final stages of testing, but Audi promises an unveil in ‘the late autumn of 2009’ – the new aluminium limo isn’t expected at the Frankfurt motor show this September, so we should see it in LA later in the year. Audi claims its ‘new flagship offers an impressive palette of innovative technologies and will redefine the benchmark for luxury saloons.’ A typically bullish claim – how will Audi match its boasts?The basic tech remains the same, with an aluminium chassis – which will also underpin the next Bentley Continental – that contributes to a significant weight saving.
