By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 April 2009 14:49 What’s new on Ssangyong’s Seoul motor show stand?There was palpable relief on the Ssangyong stand in Seoul as the motor show press day followed a company conference where its rejuvenation package had been outlined to worried importers. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.

Pruett Vineyard releases wine celebrating the Rolex 24 at Daytona anniversary

Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. The recent releases include a 2008 Pruett Napa Cab, a 2010 Pruett Grenache, a 2009 Lucky Lauren Red and a 2009 Pruett Estate Syrah--which tastes of purple fruits with traces of ginger and black pepper--that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. 2015 Audi Q3 is coming to America with 200 hp

Audi has been selling the Q3 crossover overseas for a few years now, but it is set to make its United States debut at the Detroit auto show before hitting dealerships this fall. The 2015 Audi Q3 will complement the new A3 lineup, which includes a sedan, cabriolet and sportback, while expanding the automaker’s luxury crossover/SUV stable. The Q3 will get power from Audi’s workhorse 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, making 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque in this application.
