Offered for bid is the complete cylinder head assembly from a 1984 Kawasaki KZ-700A motorcycle, a bike that had only 19,853 miles on it upon being parted out.  This head is in "as removed" condition without any clean-up or reworking.  The camshaft cover, camshafts, valvetrain, valves and head are all part of the deal.  Each camshaft had to be removed to reach two head bolts with a socket so they will certainly need to be re-timed before installation.  Bidding starts at just $49.95 plus shipping to get it sold and out of my garage.  See below for a word on shipping.

Shipping -- international bidders are welcome but write for a shipping quote before you bid, and PayPal is the only form of payment we accept.  Buyers of multiple lots will recieve combined shipping to save you money on fees. Those shipping charges will be tailored to the winning bidder with the USPS Shipping Calculator once we have your zip code.  Saturday shipping will happen IF you pay before 10:00am Indiana time.  We have several other lots up for bid, including more motorcycle parts, so be sure to click "see Seller's other items" for a look.

Ford Iosis Max unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009

Mon, 02 Mar 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 March 2009 18:00 Ford is serving up a big-bang surprise at Geneva with the launch of the Iosis Max concept car. The third in a series of Iosis show cars, the Max affords our first view of the new 2011 Ford Focus, with a hint of next-gen 2010 C-Max thrown in for good measure.  The Iosis Max looks just like the next-gen Focus at the front and heralds some important new styling treatments for all future Fords, its designers have told CAR. The lower trapezoidal grille, for instance, will in future feature these horizontal chromed strakes, echoing the feature lines on the bonnet, and the Blue Oval badge appears more prominently in the middle of the higher, Fiesta-style grille.

Mon, 01 Mar 2010

The Mercedes S63 AMG is the firts to get the new AMG 5.5 litre V8 Bi-Turbo Mercedes’ top end AMG engine has changed over the last few years. It’s gone from a 5.5 litre supercharged lump to the now ubiquitous 6.2 litre normally aspirated engine, which anomalously gets badged ’63′ throughout the cars that sit at the top of each of Mercedes big-engined ranges. But now we go back to the future with the return of a 5.5 litre V8 – admittedly a completely new engine (M571) – which this time round sports a pair of turbochargers and delivers 554 hp and 590lbs/ft of torque.

During his tenure as Director of Design at GM Europe, Smith oversaw the Insignia concept car as well as much of the Opel range, including the acclaimed Astra. At Ford, Smith spearheaded the automaker's 'Kinetic Design' strategy and has since presented this vision in both concept and production car form.
