VW Beetle GSR Limited Edition gets 207bhp

Volkswagen are launching a limited edition of the Beetle – the VW Beetle GSR – with yellow and black paint job and 207bhp. The Beetle GSR stays relatively faithful to the paint job on its granddad with the bonnet and boot of the GSR in black, as are the roof and mirrors, and there are yellow and black stripes with ‘GSR’ lettering on the sides, all setting off the yellow paint job and 19″ alloys completing the exterior. Oddly, despite the GSR paying tribute to its 1970s predecessor, you can also order your GSR in Platinum Grey or Black. Jeep shows six Moab Easter Jeep Safari concepts

Jeep introduced six concepts headed for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari next week. Three of the off-road ready concepts were based on the Wrangler, two on the new Cherokee and the last was a gently warmed over version of the Grand Cherokee. This is the 12th year that the Jeep brand is participating in the event, but it'll be the 48th Easter Jeep event overall.

Suzuki plans to bring Kizashi to UK in 2011

Suzuki is evaluating bringing in its Mondeo-rivalling Kizashi family car to the UK market this time next year. The Suzuki Kizashi is already sold in Japan, the US, Australia and New Zealand, but now European importers are beginning to sell the car on the Continent. It's already sold in Switzerland and Norway, German sales begin in winter 2010 and - if the trial goes well - UK sales could kick off in autumn 2011.
