BUYER BEWARE: Someone recently appeared on Ebay who attempts to compare the product they are selling to our SPS brand, and have made several inaccurate claims. This seller is NOT one of our authorized dealers, and is in no way authorized by us, or SPS Manufacturing, to sell SPS products. The longtail kit they are attempting to sell is well known in Thailand as an economy built longtail that is inferior to SPS in numerous ways. Our kits cost more due to their higher quality and added features, and the shipping is more because our kits are built heavier.
This other seller bought an older style SPS kit from us in Dec. 2012. They also purchased a very small quantity of SPS parts from a reseller who went out of business. They have displayed pictures of SPS parts along with parts of another brand placed in a manner which hides the brand name stamps of the product they are actually selling. We've even seen some of their coupler bolts with the real brand name ground off. Many of their other pictures were borrowed from other websites, and parts of their listing info is plagiarized, and parrots our content. Neither SPS North America, Inc., nor SPS Manufacturing of Thailand is in any way affiliated with them, and will not provide them with parts or product support for what they are selling. All real SPS dealers will display our Swamp Runner Authorized Dealer logo.
Contrary to their claims, a simple visit to the SPS factory website at www.longtailboatsps.com will verify that we are the ORIGINAL and ONLY distributor of SPS products throughout the US & Canada, and their parts are NOT made in our foundry. We've been around the Thai longtail for a very long time, and the Swamp Runner brand by SPS is the highest quality Thai longtail available. In Thailand there are other longtail brands that we could import, but we choose not to be associated with those other brands. There is a reason why other brands want to compare what they are selling to our SPS product....QUALITY. WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
The winning bidder of this auction will receive one complete longtail kit that is ideal for the 9hp Honda GX270 or 13hp Honda GX390, but may fit a variety of other general purpose, horizontal shaft, small engines between 8hp and 16hp. Our kit consists of: a coupler housing assembly with grease cups, galvanized 85” shaft assembly, engine base bracket, transom bracket, chromed tiller handle, throttle assembly, mounting hardware, two aluminum propellers measuring 8” and 8.50” diameter , and assembly instructions (all the parts are shown in the first picture).
SWAMP RUNNER EXCLUSIVES
So what makes our longtail better than other Thai longtails? SPS North America and SPS Manufacturing have worked closely to develop the Swamp Runner longtail. We started with the superior quality of the SPS Thai longtail, and introduced numerous improvements for the American market. These improvements are exclusive to Swamp Runner longtails, and available from no other source in North America. Here is a short list of only a few of those differences;
1. Swamp Runner couplers and tiller handles are hot-dipped galvanized, which offers far superior corrosion resistance and paintability over chrome.
2. The coupler shaft of this kit rides smoothly on an internal radial bearing, while other Thai longtails have no bearing which can lead to vibration.
3. We offer the only tiller handle that can be mounted for left or right hand steering. All other Thai longtails have right handed steering only.
4. Our kits come with a high quality tethered kill switch for safety. We don't use the cheap switches with the plastic housing.
5. The diameter of our tiller handles accept custom throttle levers, while all other Thai longtails have a diameter that will not allow it.
6. The transom bolts of our kits have transom pads providing a larger surface area to grip the transom firmly without digging into the transom and damaging it.
7. Swamp Runner longtails have grease zerk fittings located in numerous locations to make lubrication easy. The others simply don't have it.
8. The engine base of our Small, Medium, and Large kits can be adjusted forward and backward for balance adjustment. The others dont offer this.
9. The gimble bracket of our Medium kit pivots smoothly on sealed roller bearings, while other Thai longtails use dry bushings.
10. SPS utilizes certain trade secrets and manufacturing techniques to produce a highly balanced shaft assembly you just can't get anywhere else.

ENGINE REQUIREMENTS - If you dont see your engine model listed above, use the following measurements to verify compatibility with your engine;
· 1” diameter non-tapered horizontal output shaft with keyway slot.
· Engine PTO cover bolt circle pattern of 5” diameter.
· Engine base bolt pattern of 7 11/16” x 3 3/4”.
NOTE: This kit is not compatible with gear reduction boxes, nor will it fit the 9hp Carroll Stream engine, or V-twin Vanguard engines.

DISCLAIMER
We work hard to maintain an inventory of every replacement part necessary to rebuild our longtail kits, and we reserve certain parts and services exclusively for our customers. We do not list all of our parts on ebay. Certain replacement parts are only available to our customers who purchased their kit from us, or one of our dealers. We will provide parts for resold kits if the new owner can provide us with the confidential serial number that is stamped on every kit we sell. We reserve the right to refuse parts and service on any mud motor kit acquired from other sources.
WARRANTY
If, within two years from the date of purchase this longtail mud motor kit fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, MudMotorKit will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part that we determine to be defective in materials or workmanship, free of charge. Failed parts must be returned, postage paid by the owner, to us for inspection. MudMotorKit will repair or replace any item we determine to be defective, within two weeks of receipt. If the product fails, the buyer must contact MudMotorKit for a return authorization number prior to returning the product. Shipping expenses for any item submitted to MudMotorKit facility for repair or replacement under this warranty are the responsibility of the owner of the item. MudMotorKit will provide return shipping of the repaired or replaced part to the customer. This warranty does not cover damage due to impact, normal wear, excessive wear to the shaft or shaft bushings due to lack of lubrication, neglect, corrosion, lack of maintenance, modification to the product, or misuse. The customer will be responsible for the shipping costs of any item returned to them that is not covered under warranty. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser. Proof of original purchase is required on all warranties, exchanges, and returns to MudMotorKit. Propellers and electrical parts are not covered under this warranty.
RETURNS
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the product can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of customer receipt, if it is still new, undamaged, and in its original unused condition. No refunds will be issued for kits or propellers unless the both propeller’s tamper-proof zip ties remain intact. No refunds on shipping cost. There will be no refunds for any reason beyond this 14 day period.
SHIPPING
We ship ONLY to the United States and Canada, so no other international bidders please. This kit is shipped in TWO PARCELS. To provide our customers the lowest shipping cost, shipments may be sent using UPS or USPS, depending on the buyer's location. It’s extra work for us, but we do it to save our customers money. Shipping will be $85.00 to all states in the continental US. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & US Protectorates will be $100.00. For Canadian addresses, shipping & handling will be $135 to all provinces except Northwest Territory and Nunavut. Canadian buyers must also provide us a telephone number (required to process Customs documents). All of our shipments are insured, and we provide the buyer with tracking numbers for the shipping carrier. In the event an item is lost or damaged by the carrier, we reserve the right not to ship a replacement part until after all claims filed with the carrier for lost or damaged items have been paid by the carrier. Porsche Cayenne and Panamera production temporarily stops

The factory builds the Cayenne SUV and Panamera sedan for global markets, including the United States.
