Complete Mercedes 220d Motor 1972 72 Replace Your 200d Om615 on 2040-parts.com
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Completely rebuilt 1972 Mercedes 220D motor. has approximately 15,000 miles on it. I had it in a 1967 200D that was totaled in a rear-end collision. I kept the drivetrain thinking i'd use it again someday...20 years later, it still sits in my garage. i'm downsizing, and have decided to get rid of all my Mercedes stuff. I bought it as a core; it had spun a bearing. I can personally guarantee that every wearable internal part was replaced with new; this includes all bearing, pistons, chain, oil pump, etc. additionally, I sent the head out to have the valve seats welded. this thing held crazy oil pressure at idle - it was at least 60 lbs. hot, and ran very well. the only thing untouched is the injector pump - it is original, and its the vacuum override type. as you can see from the pics, I adapted a gm alternator to it; that will go with it. you may also note that the left mounting bracket has a bracket attached to it; this was what was necessary to have it sit in the 200D chassis; that goes too. so you can run this motor in a 200D or 220D. it bolted right up to the 200D transmission. it also comes with a flywheel for a 1972 220D stick transmission, and flex plate for a 200D transmission. it turns free, and you can hear the compression as you turn it. after sitting so long, I cannot say what kind of shape the seals are in, but since I've turned it every now and again, they are probably ok buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. I will put on a pallet and deliver to a las vegas freight office for $100. free local pick up. |

Hyundai ix35 launches at Frankfurt
Wed, 16 Sep 2009Th Hyundai ix35 at the Frankfurt Motor Show The exterior styling is Ford Kuga by way of VW Tiguan – but somehow more convincing. With the optional 18″ wheels it looks purposeful and aggressive, but even in stock form it looks great. Passenger comfort is well taken care of with a well thought-out cabin with lots of decent quality materials, and nice features like the panoramic roof, cooled glove-box and good connectivity.
