Complete Original Triumph Tr6 Tr-6 Rear Valence Panel Assembly For Restoration on 2040-parts.com
Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States
Offered for
your consideration is an original equipment rear valence panel assembly for the
Triumph TR6. This assembly is the later-style
three-panel assembly, with an upper inner and lower inner panel added to the
outer rear valence for the later TR6 models.
This rear valence assembly was salvaged from a 1975 donor car. There is some rust in all the usual places --
and some rust-through. There is some bondo plastic filler in the lower section of the outer valence panel near the bumper mount holes. Admittedly, it
looks fairly gnarly, but considering the current catalog price in Moss Motors
is $1,120 for the three panels -- perhaps restoring this rear valence assembly is a more
cost-effective option than buying new replacement panels. This valence assembly weighs in at 25
pounds. Please look carefully at all 12
photos. Local pick up is preferred by
appointment only. You are welcome to

Autonomous emergency braking mandatory in Europe by 2014
Tue, 07 Aug 2012Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is set to become mandatory as a result of new European regulations. From 2014 Euro NCAP – the organization responsible for conducting independent assessment of vehicle safety performance – will amend its reports and no car will gain a five-star rating without AEB. It's hoped an increased use of the system will cut down on front-end impacts as well as pedestrian injuries.
