Brabus tunes Mercedes S-class for Frankfurt motor show

German tuner Brabus is working its magic on the new-generation Mercedes-Benz S-class for the Frankfurt motor show, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness. The clumsily named sedan comes with an iPad mini that can control all COMAND functions from the back seat. The £92,000 Climax Sports Racer British firm Climax has revealed it’s readying a road-going race-car to rival others in the niche like the Ariel Atom and the Caparo T1. Imaginatively named The Climax Sport Racer the new car gets powered by a Ford 4.6 V8 developing 345bhp with a supercharged version offering 415bhp. All that grunt is driven through the rear wheels by a 6-speed Graziano GT ME1 gearbox.

The need to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere is contentious - to say the least – but as long as governments use CO2 as a stick to beat motorists and empty their bank accounts it’s sensible to look at ways of ‘balancing’ the CO2 emissions of cars. French biochemist Pierre Calleja thinks he’s come up with a solution that would neutralise CO2 emissions from cars by cancelling it out with his micro-algae lighting.
