Up for auction is a full set of excellent used Maxxis HT3 racing go kart tires and new VanK P-Zero aluminum wheels. The tires were professionally mounted and then ran for approximately 20-25 laps. They were then dismounted and flipped, and mounted on new wheels June 1st, 2016. Since the tires are used you should expect minor scrapes and scratches from incidental racing contact. The wheels have a few imperfections from the machining process and one in particular has a few scratches around the lip, but nothing to affect functionality, and they roll true. They have been stored in a climate controlled environment and are ready to hit the track. The specifics for the set are as follows:


2 - 12.0 x 9.00 - 6  used Maxxis HT3 tires mounted on new VanK P-Zero fully machined aluminum wheels 10" wide, (American bolt pattern, 3 on 2.5").  These tires measure 34 inches in circumference with 8 lbs of air and have approximately .060-.064 rubber remaining

1 - 11.0 x 6.00 - 6 used Maxxis HT3 tire mounted on a new VanK P-Zero fully machined aluminum wheel 8.5" wide.  This tire measures 33" in circumference with 8 lbs of air.  It has approximately 95% of the original rubber remaining (center-line still visible).

1 - 10.5 x 4.50 - 6 used Maxxis HT3 tire mounted on a new VanK P-Zero fully machined aluminum wheel  6" wide.  This tire measures 32 5/8" in circumference with 8 lbs of air.  It has approximately 95% of the original rubber remaining.

These tires are boxed up and ready for immediate shipping.

BMW Group has announced changes to its design organization, in keeping with the company's stronger focus on its brands BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce. Under the overall direction of Chris Bangle, Director of BMW Group Design, brand specific design studios have been set up for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, as well as for the areas BMW Motorrad and BMW M. These new brand studios will accompany the entire development process for new models from the first sketches to the start of production.

The Maserati Alfieri (pictured) is going in to production When the Maserati Alfieri was revealed at the Geneva Motor SHow in March, we said it was a car Maserati must build. And they are. Maserati has confirmed that the Alfieri will go in to production in 2016 as the Alfieri Coupe, with an Alfieri Convertible arriving by 2017, giving Maserati a serious rival to the Jaguar F-Type.
