Complete Yamaha T8 Powerhead on 2040-parts.com
Bellevue, Washington, United States
Complete powerhead from a 2004 Yamaha T8 8 HP 4-stroke outboard (less carburetor and electronics). The motor was sparingly used as a kicker on a larger boat, so the power tilt, parts of the tiller, and steering friction control were removed. I purchased the motor with the intend to rebuild it, but used parts have not been forthcoming and new parts are hideously expensive, so I am parting it.
The motor is currently assembled and runs - in fact runs very well. It has 155 psi compression in both cylinders and the motor shows no signs of corrosion or rust. It should fit any year Yamaha F8 or T8. The auction if for the power head ONLY (less carb and electronics). If you need other parts, please email me for pricing. Conversely, if you have a T8 power trim unit or tiller you want to sell, contact me as I would be interested in purchasing. |

Scion FR-S concept
Thu, 21 Apr 2011Another day, another variation on the fabled Toyota FT-86. Following on from the FT-86 II at Geneva and the re-emergence of the original version at the Seoul Auto Show, New York played host to the Scion FR-S concept. Unsurprisingly, the FR-S boasts the same front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car demeanor - hence the name - but differs visually from the other variations from the long awaited Toyota.
