Grand Day Out Promised To Celebrate Mitsubishi UK’S 40th Year
Mon, 17 Mar 2014MITSUBISHI in the UK has set out its plans to celebrate a landmark anniversary, as it’s 40 years since the company started importing cars. To mark the occasion the firm is organising a tour for 60 vehicles manufactured before 2001, taking place on Saturday 31st May. The tour will start and finishes at Rendcomb Airfield in Gloucestershire.

Mon, 10 Jan 2011Honda showed off two new Civics at the NAIAS 2011: the Civic Si Concept Coupe and the Civic Concept Saloon. They're sadly US-market only, rather than related to the European spec models, themselves up for replacement at the end of 2011. Although 'concepts', these two effectively show what will roll into US showrooms in spring 2011. The blurb is pretty strict on the difference between the American and Euro Civics: 'The Civic Si coupe and saloon Concepts are US-only design and will not be sold in the UK.
Fisker Automotive lays off some workers as government reworks loan
Mon, 06 Feb 2012Work on the Fisker Nina family sedan has temporarily halted at the Fisker Automotive plant in Wilmington, Del., while the carmaker and the federal government hash out details of the company's $529 million Department of Energy loan. The interruption has resulted in the layoff of 26 people at its Delaware plant and a number of contract engineers at Fisker's Anaheim, Calif., headquarters. Fisker Automotive said some of the engineering-staff reductions in Anaheim were already planned to occur in between development of the Karma and the Nina.
