Up for auction is a Continental 0-300-D that was removed from a Cessna 172 which is undergoing a conversion to 180 HP.......... The 0-300-D has 3250 SMOH and was running fine when removed. All compression's were in the upper 70's and were confirmed by an AP. The engine can be crated for $100.00 fee and loaded in a truck or picked up locally. Located in Northern, IN Certified funds and or the payment type must be cleared prior to shipping. Guys gets serious this time if you need even a couple parts this engine is a barging and it's complete runs and has great compressions. Bid to own not to insult me I'm making it available as I know 145 hp are getting hard to find selling it to help someone but I'm not giving it away thanks

Fisker lays off majority of staff

This story originally appeared on Automotive News Fisker Automotive, the plug-in hybrid sports-car maker that has been grappling with financial troubles, laid off about 160 of its more than 200 employees Friday morning. A Fisker source who was among the employees affected said the layoff took place at about 8 a.m. Pacific.
