Long-time racing journalist Chris Economaki dies

UPDATE: Whoever you are, wherever you are, take a moment to think of Chris Economaki. Make it your personal tribute, however brief, to this grand old man of auto racing journalists because he left us late Thursday, Sept. 27 at age 91, and he left a hole in the motorsports firmament that can never be filled.

The Renault Clio Gordini 200 Renault are moving on with their Gordini offerings, this time the Clio with the announcement that the Renaulsport Clio 200 gets the Gordini treatment – Blue with white stripes – and a near £2,000 price premium. The car had bidders and vendors purring with pleasure and nine of these stunning cars were on offer and all of them sold. Of the four examples offered, not one sold for less than £31,000 and the chart topper – a magnificent, bright red 1972 machine achieved over £39,000.
