Bloodhound SSC – 1000mph World Record plan
Tue, 24 Nov 2009The Bloodhound SSC – aims to hit 1,000mph The current world record stands at a relatively measly 763mph (measly certainly in comparison to the target set by the Bloodhound SSC Team) and the technical obstacles the Bloodhound team has had to overcome to get their record attempt on target have been substantial. Roding developed a prototype of its Roadster concept in 2008, originally designed at the university in Munich, and displayed at the Frankfurt motor show three years ago.

While Tesla Motors Inc. contends the fire was not related to the car or its charging system, the Orange County Fire Authority said the Tesla-supplied charging system or the connection at the electricity panel on the wall of the garage of a single-family home could have caused the fire.
