MUCH CONFUSION ATTENDS THE NOMENCLATURE OF OMC ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROLS

It is CRITICAL that you get the correct Control for your application 

Selectric. Electromatic, hydroelectric often have different shift switches & applications.  Further, the design of the shift switch connecting plug may be a flat, in line 3 wire design or a rectangular 2 wire over 1 design.

The flat plug may appear with any Electric shift model (including 40 hp), while I have never seen the rectangular (2 Over 1) plug on any thing but 40 hp.

If you wish to buy an Electric Shift Control and are still confused, contact Bob through the Ebay Message Site, with as much information as you are able to supply and I will assist you with the proper identification
